Why this library exists

In December 1945, the books came out of the ground.

Near Nag Hammadi, in Upper Egypt, two brothers digging for fertile soil struck a sealed clay jar. Inside were thirteen leather-bound books — gospels, revelations and treatises copied in Coptic in the fourth century, then buried, most likely when books like these were being ordered destroyed.

For sixteen centuries, the world knew these teachings mostly through the people who condemned them. Older still, the clay tablets of Sumer had kept their own account of who made us — and who warned us — long before Genesis was written.

Today all of it is published: in academic editions, in scattered translations, in a thousand videos. What most readers still don't have is a way to read it together, in plain language — and to find a passage again the moment they need it.

That is what this library is for.

— The Gnostic Master Library

If this is you

You were never short of curiosity. You were short of a library.

I

You have read the fragments

A video here, a PDF there, a quote on a screenshot. You know there is more — and you have never seen it in one place.

II

You can't find it again

You remember a line about the light within — but not which gospel, which page, which translation. So it slips away.

III

The sources contradict each other

One says Sophia fell. Another says she was sent. One says forty days, another eleven years. Nobody tells you which text says what.

IV

You want sources, not slogans

Not channelled messages. Not someone's opinion dressed as scripture. The texts themselves — and an honest reading you can check.

You were never failing to understand. You were reading a library that had been scattered on purpose.

Chapter II · The Fall

Wisdom, alone

Primary textIn the Secret Book of John, Sophia conceives a thought without the consent of the Spirit — and what she brings forth is unlike her.

My note — the same pattern as the parable in Thomas 97? Compare.

Our readingThe fall is not told as a crime but as a longing — wisdom reaching for what it could not yet hold.

What she brings forth is the first ruler — and the rest of the story is the long work of getting the light back.

Sources, not slogans

The Church says forty days. The buried texts say eleven years.

In the Book of Acts, the risen Jesus teaches for forty days. In the Pistis Sophia, he teaches his disciples for eleven years. In the Secret Book of James, five hundred and fifty days. This library tells you which text says what — and every interpretation is labelled as ours.

Questions

Before you open the first page.

What exactly do I get?

Access to the volumes you choose inside our reading app — the Master Library includes all four. Each volume has illustrated pages, a table of contents, its own interactive tool, and The Librarian to search everything you own. Your access arrives by email right after checkout.

Is it a PDF?

No. It's a reading app that opens in your browser on phone, tablet or computer — pages with text and illustrations, bookmarks, highlights and notes. Nothing to install, nothing to download.

Which volume should I start with?

Drawn to the Archons and how they hold this world? Volume I. Want the whole cosmos mapped — the Pleroma, Sophia, the Demiurge? Volume II. Curious about Enki and the oldest tablets? Volume III. Looking for the sayings of Jesus, Sophia and Mary Magdalene? Volume IV.

If more than one of those is you, the Master Library costs less than three volumes bought separately.

Is this against Jesus or Christianity?

No. An entire volume is built around the sayings of Jesus. The people who wrote and buried these texts saw themselves as his followers. We show what each text says; what it means for your faith stays with you.

Is any of this channelled?

No. Everything starts from real ancient sources, which we name. Where we interpret, the page says "our reading". The practices — journaling, contemplations, Seven Nights — were written for this library and are presented as such.

Whose translations do you use?

Our own renderings and public-domain translations, always with the original source named, so you can follow any passage back to the text it comes from.

Do I need to know theology or history?

No. Every volume starts from the beginning and explains every name the first time it appears. If you have read for years, you'll find the sources gathered and searchable in a way they have never been.

Can I upgrade later?

Already bought and want more? You can upgrade anytime and keep your progress — just reply to your receipt email and we'll take care of it.

How does the 30-Day Library Promise work?

If the library is not for you, for any reason, write to us within 30 days of your purchase and you'll receive a full refund. Reply to your purchase email or write to support — no forms, no interrogation.
